Road closed following 'serious' crash

A road has been closed for several hours following a serious collision.

Wiltshire Police said the incident took place on Bath Road A365 near Melksham Oak Community School.

The road is shut in both directions between Bowerhill Lane and Seend Fork while investigation work takes place.

"The road is expected to remain closed for several hours," said a police spokesperson.

Drivers have been asked to find alternatives routes.
