Two people rescued from beach after landslide

Two women have been rescued from a beach after being cut off by a mudslide.
HM Coastguard said the pair were "cut off by the tide and mud" after the landslide near Nodes Point, St Helens, at about 15:00 GMT on Saturday.
The pair were picked up in a lifeboat and "returned to shore" by Bembridge Lifeboat and Coastguard Rescue Team.
Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service added the rescue had taken approximately 90 minutes and both women were uninjured after being assessed by an ambulance crew.
