Boy, 11, and man charged after double stabbing

An 11-year-old boy and a man, 20, have been charged with assault after two people were stabbed in the street.
Both have also been charged with possessing an offensive weapon after a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man were taken to hospital following the attack on Tuesday in Longsight, Manchester.
Greater Manchester Police said the pair remained in hospital in a stable condition.
The force said the 11-year-old boy, and the 20-year-old man who is from Manchester, would appear before magistrates later.
The double stabbing happened shortly before 19:00 GMT on Tuesday close to Rushford Street and Purcell Street.
