Investigation after man stabbed in torso

A police investigation is under way after a man in his 40s was stabbed in Nottinghamshire.
Officers were called to Downing Street in Sutton-in-Ashfield at about 17:45 BST on Thursday.
Nottinghamshire Police said the victim drove himself to hospital after sustaining two "small stab wounds to his torso", which are not believed to be life-threatening.
A cordon remains in place on Friday while officers continue to gather evidence.
Det Insp Ian Smith said: "Our investigation is at an early stage and we are working hard to establish exactly what happened.
"We are working in the area to gather evidence and would also like to speak to witnesses who have yet to come forward.
"If you saw this attack or anything at all suspicious in the moments before and after we would like to hear from you."
