A motorcyclist has been seriously injured in a crash which closed a main road near Cotswold Wildlife Park.

The collision, which was first reported by the park at 14:30 BST, involved a male rider and a car on the A361 at Bradwell Grove, Oxfordshire.

At 15:45, police said the man had been taken to hospital and the road would remain closed for some time.

Earlier, the park said the "major incident" was causing long traffic delays.

The A361 is closed over a 280m (920ft) stretch between Hardwick Lane and Woodside Drive.

Firefighters from Witney, as well as police officers and paramedics, attended the scene.
