A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on the A47 near East Winch, Norfolk

A major road was closed for more than four hours after a two-vehicle crash left a motorcyclist with serious injuries.

Emergency services were called to the A47 near East Winch, Norfolk, just before 08:00 BST, following a collision between a black Tesla Model 3 car and a green Kawasaki ZX1200 motorbike.

A man, in his 50s, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn for treatment.

The road was open in both directions by 12:45, with traffic lights in place while work to clear the road was completed.

It was open fully by 15:30. Norfolk Police appealed for witnesses.
