Temporary roundabout to be constructed on A9

A temporary roundabout is to be built on the A9 between Tomatin and Moy to assist work to dual the route.
The measure at Invereen is due to be operational from Thursday 24 April, with the speed limit reduced to 30mph.
The roundabout could be in place until spring 2028 at the latest and road users have been advised to allow extra time for journeys.
Transport Scotland said pedestrian and emergency access would be maintained at all times.
The work south of Inverness is part of wider work to completely dual the A9 from the Highland city to Perth.
The overall £3bn construction project had been due to be complete this year, but the deadline was put back to 2035.
Two sections of single carriageway totalling 11 miles (18km) of road have been upgraded, leaving 77 miles (124km) of the route still to be dualled.
