Man seen with machete during fight in city street

A man involved in a fight involving a group of young men may have been carrying a machete, police said.

Armed officers were called to Bignold Road in the Mile Cross area of Norwich at 15:20 BST on Sunday.

Officers believed a car window was smashed in the fight and following a search of the area, no weapon was found.

Norfolk Police said work to identify those involved was "ongoing", including collecting and analysing forensic evidence from the scene.

A police dog unit and drone were also involved in the search.

Officers have urged witnesses and those with relevant footage to contact them.
