College evacuated and six held after fight

A college was evacuated and six people have been arrested following a fight earlier, police said.
Officers were called to Doncaster College on Chappell Drive just after 12:30 GMT following reports of an altercation between a group of males.
The college was evacuated as a precaution, South Yorkshire Police said, and a full search of the site took place to ensure it was safe for staff and students to return.
Initially officers detained four males but two further arrests were made after a knife was found in the search. One person suffered a hand injury during the incident.
The arrests included:
- A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of an offensive weapon and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
- Two 17-year-old boys and a 20-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs
- An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray
- A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of Class B drugs
All are in police custody.
A spokesperson for South Yorkshire Police said officers remain at the scene "to reassure staff, students, and the local community".
'Support for students'
The college has since reopened, with students and staff allowed to return inside the site to collect their belongings.
A college spokesperson said: "The incident at Doncaster College has concluded with police support.
"All staff and students are safe. However, one person did sustain a minor hand injury."
It said the college would be open as normal on Thursday.
"Parents and carers can be assured that students will have access to our full wellbeing support services," they added.
