Man charged with murder over 2023 stabbing

A man has been charged with murder following the stabbing of a 52-year-old man in Rotherham.

Paul Sharp was found injured at a property on Redscope Crescent on 25 October 2023, and died at the scene.

Martin Hoyland, 47, has been charged with murder and possession of a bladed article, South Yorkshire Police said.

Mr Hoyland will appear before Sheffield magistrates on Monday.
