A murder investigation has been launched in north west London after a man in his 30s was fatally stabbed.

The Metropolitan Police was called to reports of a stabbing in Linacre Road, Willesden Green, at approximately 04:16 GMT on Saturday.

A man was found suffering serious stab injuries and was pronounced dead on the way to the hospital, the force said.

No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing, the Met added.

Officers are working to identify the man's next of kin, and road closures remain in place around the scene.
