Hundreds of Santas take part in charity fun run
Hundreds of runners dressed as Father Christmas have taken part in a charity fun run in Cornwall.
Almost 800 people dressed in his famous red and white costume completed a 2km (1.2m) circular course around the Eden Project to raise money for Children's Hospice South West.
The charity provides hospice care for children living with life-limiting conditions and has three hospices including Little Bridge House in Devon and Little Harbour in Cornwall.
Event organisers said the run had raised about £30,000.
Hundreds more Santas will be fundraising on 7 December as part of the charity's 'Santas on a bike' event.
The motorbiking Santas will ride from Lee Mill in Devon to Little Harbour children’s hospice in St Austell.
Spectators have been invited to watch the bikers along the route, but are asked not to come to the finish at Little Harbour due to a shortage of space.
