Person trapped in bus and car crash

Firefighters have removed a person who was stuck in a vehicle after a crash involving a bus and a car.

It happened in Stockton, at the junction between Church Road and The Square, at about 06:30 GMT on Wednesday.

A North East Ambulance Service spokesman said the patient was taken to North Tees Hospital for further treatment.

Cleveland Fire Brigade said three fire engines were sent to the scene.
