Serial flasher handed suspended jail sentence

A serial flasher who exposed himself in Hull and two nearby towns has been given a suspended jail sentence.
Mark Stuart, of The Garth, Cottingham, also performed sexual acts on himself in public areas of Hull, Hedon and Hornsea.
The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to one count of indecent exposure and three counts of outraging public decency. The incidents took place in August and September 2023.
Stuart was sentenced to 18 months' imprisonment, suspended for two years, and was handed a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years at Hull Crown Court on Monday.
He will also be on the sex offenders register for 10 years and under a curfew for nine months, with electronic monitoring. He was also ordered to take part in 30 days of rehabilitation.
Stuart pleaded not guilty to three counts of outraging public decency and one count of indecent exposure. Those charges were later dropped.
'Perverted individual'
Humberside Police said they received multiple reports from women who had seen a man exposing himself, hiding in bushes and performing sexual acts on himself.
Stuart was identified as the man following a CCTV appeal, the force added.
Det Con Aaron Aistrop, who led the investigation, said: "Stuart is a perverted individual who believed he could act for his own sexual gratification and face no repercussions."
He added: "I would like to praise the women for coming forward and for the bravery and courage which they have shown over the course of the investigation."
