Giant eggs to be hidden around London for hunt

A city-wide spectacle will see London filled with more than 100 giant decorated eggs.

The Big Egg Hunt 2025 trail will include sites at Battersea Power Station, Covent Garden, Chelsea, Marylebone, Marble Arch and Canary Wharf, as well as Buckingham Palace, the Barbican and the Saatchi Gallery.

Wildlife charity Elephant Family and egg producer Clarence Court are behind the exhibition, which features work from from the worlds of art, fashion and food.

Elephant Family described the trail as "a vibrant celebration of art and conservation which can be enjoyed by everyone".

The scattered sculptures are 2ft (0.6m) tall and members of the public will be able to "collect the eggs" from 24 March when they can be found and ticked off on a free app which is set to reveal prizes along the way.

When the exhibition ends, the sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for Asian wildlife conservation through the charity, Elephant Family, which was founded by the Queen's late brother, Mark Shand.
