Murder arrests after man found dead in flat

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a flat in Derby.

Police were called to reports a man had been found with serious injuries at a property in Witney Close, Allenton, at 13:45 GMT on Thursday.

The man, in his 40s, died at the scene, the force added.

Officers said two men, both in their 50s and from Derby, were arrested later that afternoon and remained in custody.

Detectives are asking for anyone with information to contact the force.
