Crews tackle fire involving 'number of vehicles'

Firefighters in Rotherham are tackling a blaze involving a "large number of vehicles".

Eight fire crews were at the scene at a yard in Dinnington just after 21:00 GMT, according to South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service.

A spokesperson said residents should keep their doors and windows closed until the smoke cleared.

They also asked people to avoid the area if possible.
