A man in his 30s has been taken to hospital after reports of an assault in Kent.

Paramedics treated a man with an injury consistent with a stab wound after being called to Foord Road, in Folkestone, at about 15:30 BST on Wednesday.

The man was taken to a hospital in London for further treatment, Kent Police added.

Officers remain at the scene and are carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances, the force said.
