Delivery drivers assaulted in Christmas Day attacks
Three delivery drivers were assaulted on Christmas Day by two men on a quad bike in linked attacks, according to police.
The assaults took place between 22:00 and 22:40 GMT in Epsom and Ewell, Surrey Police said.
In an appeal on social media, the force said the two suspects were described as white men, aged about 18 to 20, wearing face coverings and dark clothing.
They were riding a dark coloured quad bike with no lights, it said.
Det Insp Josephine Horner said: "This sort of behaviour is completely unacceptable and the three victims were just going about their normal jobs on Christmas Day.
"Due to the similarities in the incidents, we believe them to be linked and would like anyone who witnessed them or has any relevant information to come forward and speak to us."
The first incident happened at 22:00 on Ashley Road, Epsom, where a delivery driver on a moped was followed and assaulted by two men, who demanded his vehicle, said police.
Then at about 22:30 on Epsom Road, Ewell, officers said two men punched a second delivery driver and tried to knock him off his moped before he managed to get away and call police.
At about 22:40 on the High Street, Ewell, a third delivery driver was approached on his moped by two men and reportedly punched.
Police said one of the suspects was also described as having a distinctive mole underneath the right side of his lip.
