It had been 16 long years for Oasis fans, but finally, they had the chance to see the Gallagher brothers and co back together again.

The band's much-anticipated reunion tour began to a crowd of about 74,500 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Friday night.

They delighted fans, who revelled all day and long into the night, with classics from their back catalogue, as well as paying a touching tribute to the late Liverpool player Diogo Jota during the performance of Live Forever.

The band plays a second show in Cardiff later, before embarking on a UK and then world tour.
