Search for unsung heroes in the South Hams
A council in Devon is seeking nominations for those who "go above and beyond to help local people every day".
South Hams District Council said the South Hams Community Award would celebrate people and organisations in four categories.
They are the Young Persons Award, Community Champion Award, Community Organisation Award and the Climate and Biodiversity Champion Award.
Councillor Bernard Taylor said: "It is so important that we recognise those who go above and beyond and make a real difference to people's lives."
'Unsung heroes'
The council said the Climate and Biodiversity Champion Award had been added to this year's awards to recognise those doing "great things for the natural environment and helping to tackle climate change".
Taylor said: "There is so much great work going on across the South Hams which too often goes unrecognised.
"It was wonderful last year to be able to celebrate our unsung heroes, so this year, we want even more nominations."
Nominations for the awards close at 11:59 GMT on 10 February.
