Three in hospital after crash involving police car

Three people have been taken to hospital after a crash involving a police car responding to a 999 call.
Staffordshire Police said the crash happened on Corporation Street in Stafford, at the junction with Crooked Bridge Road, at 20:45 BST on Friday.
The force said officers, who were in a marked police car, collided with a Volvo, and the Volvo with a Nissan Micra.
The Volvo's driver, a man who was the only person in the car, and the Nissan's driver and passenger, a man and a woman, were all taken to hospital, police said.
The force added that the Volvo driver had a head injury.
The officers did not require hospital treatment.
Staffordshire Police have appealed for anyone with with CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage of the area at the time to get in touch.
