A reported aggravated robbery against two women in a racecourse car park has led to a police appeal for witnesses.

Two men threatened the victims with a bladed weapon and demanded their jewellery in Kempton Park racecourse car park, according to Surrey Police.

It happened at about 14:00 BST on Thursday, police said.

The suspects are described as white men, the first around 5ft 7in (1.7m) tall, of skinny build, and wearing a black tracksuit bottom and the second of muscular build, wearing dark clothing.

Police said the driver of a getaway vehicle was described as a white man, in his early twenties, of slim build and with sandy blonde hair.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that may help the investigation is asked to contact Surrey Police.
