A436 closed following two-vehicle collision

The A436 in Gloucestershire has been closed following a collision.

Gloucestershire Police were called at 10:50 BST on Saturday to reports of a collision involving two cars near the junction for Syreford Road in Andoversford.

Paramedics have been assessing the occupants of the cars but none of them is believed to have sustained serious injuries, police have said.

A closure is in place on the road from the turning for the A40 at Kilkenny while emergency services remain at the scene.

Motorists have been asked to avoid the area and plan an alternative route.
