An 18-year-old man has died following a single car crash in County Tyrone, police have said.

It happened on the Coalisland Road, near Dungannon, on Tuesday night.

"Police received a report shortly after 22.50 GMT, that a black Peugeot 207 had been involved in a collision," said Insp Cherith Adair.

"The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital where he sadly passed away." The Coalisland Road remains closed at this time.
