Man due in court accused of causing death crash

A man will appear in court later this month after a woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a car crash.

Keatan Gale, 25, of Sandsfield Lane, Gainsborough, is charged with causing death and serious injury by careless driving and is due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates' Court on 30 January, Lincolnshire Police said.

The summons follows an investigation after a 78-year-old woman passenger in a car died in a collision at Ashby de la Launde on 8 June 2023, the force added.

The driver of the car, an 82-year-old man, was seriously injured in the collision.
