Lorry fire closes road in Hailsham

A lorry has caught fire in Hailsham, closing a road at morning rush hour.
The lorry, which appeared to be a large heavy goods vehicle carrying building supplies on an open back, was ablaze on the Hailsham bypass at the Boship roundabout at about 07:30 GMT.
"Crews arrived and found a truck well alight," East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service (ESFRS) said.
Sussex Police also attended the scene and the road was closed.
The fire is being treated as accidental, said the ESFRS.
