Man released on bail after unexplained death of woman

A man who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead at a property has been released on bail, police said.

Wiltshire Police was called to Cowdrey Close in Toothill, Swindon, at about 00:40 GMT on Wednesday, after the sudden death of a woman.

A postmortem examination carried out on Thursday was inconclusive and further tests are due to be carried out to establish the cause of death, the force said. Formal identification is also yet to take place.

The cordon at the property has now been lifted.
