A casting director is searching for a teenager from the Skegness area to take a lead role in a BBC film.

Shaheen Baig is looking to cast a female aged between 14 and 17 from either Skegness, Ingoldmells, Chapel St Leonards, Louth or Mablethorpe.

No acting experience is required and filming will take place in the spring and summer.

The team is looking for a "charismatic, interesting young female" who is "open to trying something new".

Anyone interested can meet the casting team at the Tower Gardens Pavilion Hall on Rutland Road between 13:00 GMT and 16:00 on Thursday.

Children under16 will need written permission from a parent or guardian to attend and anyone who cannot attend should contact Ms Baig.
