One of the most notable characters in this year's series of The Traitors has been given a mock award on a billboard in central London following her performance in the show.

In the billboard above the Vue Cinema in Leicester Square, Linda, a Traitor, is pictured winning a "Golden Cloak Award" for the "performance of a lifetime" in a nod to the recent Golden Globe Awards.

In Friday's episode, the retired opera singer publicly burst into tears the morning after "murdering" Livi.

The performance drew the attention of other players after she had reportedly previously told Jake she was an "emotionless person".

Apparently unaware of the increased scrutiny, the 70-year-old declared: "I avoided suspicion. I think doing a bit of crying is 100% theatre and that's what I love."

Although Linda received some votes at the roundtable, faithful Dan was banished instead.

The Traitors is set in Scotland's Ardross Castle with the winners sharing a prize of up to £120,000.

The customary end-of-episode cliffhanger saw either Fozia or Leon facing murder ahead of Wednesday's seventh episode in a card game called death match.
