Attempted murder arrests after stabbings

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after they were both found with stab wounds.
Officers were called by Yorkshire Ambulance Service at about 01:35 BST to reports of a stabbing at Maltravers Road in Sheffield, according to South Yorkshire Police.
The men, aged 26 and 29, were found to have suffered wounds consistent with a stabbing and were arrested, a force spokesperson said.
They were taken to hospital for treatment to serious but not life-threatening injuries and they remained in a stable condition, they added.
A knife was recovered from the scene and a police cordon remained in place on Maltravers Road on Wednesday as investigations continued.
