Man charged after woman hit by car is badly hurt

A man has been charged after a woman was hit by a car outside a pub.
The crash happened in the car park of the Hare and Hounds pub on Stourbridge Road, Kidderminster, at about 17:15 GMT on Saturday and involved a grey Audi A4, police said.
The woman, aged in her 30s, suffered serious leg injuries and was described as being in a stable condition in hospital.
Aston Amos, 34, of Queens Road, Stourport-on-Severn, was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and is due to appear at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on Monday, a spokesperson for the force added.
