The States of Guernsey said manufacturer Tower had become aware of the defect in small number of air fryers manufactured between January 2022 and April 2023.

It said the product could overheat which "under certain circumstances" could pose a fire risk.

People have been advised to check their air fryer and stop using any affected models.
