Man charged after woman injured falling out of car

A man has been charged after a woman sustained multiple skull fractures after falling out of a moving car.
Hertfordshire Police was called by a member of the public at about 21:20 GMT on 29 January after the woman fell from a BMW on Oundle Avenue in Bushey.
She was taken to hospital where she remains in a critical condition.
A 34-year-old man from the town was charged with grievous bodily harm, failing to stop following a road traffic collision and failing to report a road traffic collision. He is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on 3 March.
Det Sgt Mario Toumazou said: "The suspect and victim are known to each other and I hope this news reassures the public that we take reports of violence against women and girls seriously."
