Two taken to hospital after crash on major road

Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a crash on a major road in Essex.
Police were called at about 06:45 GMT to a section of the A13 eastbound just before the A1089 junction near Orsett.
Officers said three vehicles were at the scene when they arrived, and it was believed a fourth had already left.
All three lanes were closed and debris was removed from the road, an Essex Police spokesperson said.
At about 11:00, National Highways reported that the eastbound carriageways had reopened.
