Guernsey Airport's website has been made more accessible and inclusive for all users with new assistive technology.
The installation of Recite Me has added screen magnification, the ability for users to easily change text size and translation to more than 100 languages.
Airport operator Guernsey Ports said people could customise the website to "suit their needs", whether that was a different colour scheme, text, font style, size, colour and spacing.
Customer service manager Mal Mechem said the upgrade made the website more "user-friendly for individuals with disabilities, situational challenges and anyone who requires language support".
'Proactive'
He said: "This will help all website users to access the information they need, whether that be flight and weather updates, information about airport facilities, or accessing our step-by-step guides to getting around the airport terminal.
"It is designed to make the customer experience as inclusive and welcoming as possible."
Chantelle Tucker, vision support services officer at Guernsey Blind Association, said freedom of travel was a vital to the independence of people living on an island.
"We are delighted with how keen and proactive Guernsey Ports has been in continuing to develop its inclusivity with air travel," said Ms Tucker.
