Dispersal orders over workers and visitors abuse

A fourth dispersal order has been implemented in Liverpool city centre following threats to retail workers and intimidation of hotel guests.
Merseyside Police said there had also been reports of burglaries on boats at the docks and youngsters throwing stones and taking suspected class A drugs in the street.
They have implemented dispersal orders every night since Wednesday and the latest one will be in operation until 01:00 GMT on Monday.
Policing inspector Jack Woodward said: "Visitors to this city and people living and working in the city centre should not be exposed to a mindless minority of youths who have shown a complete disregard for others."
The order means police officers can direct people engaging in anti-social behaviour to leave the city centre and not return for up to 48 hours, otherwise they could be arrested.
Insp Woodward said it would "ensure residents and businesses are not subjected to any such behaviour".
"I would also urge parents and guardians to know where the young people in your care are and to think about what they may be doing."
