The A1079 has been closed in both directions at Wilberfoss

A section of the A1079 between Hull and York has been closed in both directions following a collision.

Emergency services remained at the scene on Saturday afternoon after an earlier incident outside David Smith Garden Centre at Wilberfoss.

Images from the scene showed several police vehicles at the site, with debris across the carriageway.
