A3/M25 slip roads closed as widening continues

Two slip roads on the A3 at its junction with the M25 in Surrey will be closed from 21:00 BST on Friday, as work to widen the carriageway continues.
The northbound exit slip and the westbound entry slip between the A3 and junction 10 of the M25 at Wisley will remain shut until about 05:30 BST on Monday.
A contraflow has been in place on the A3 since Wednesday, which will be in place until the end of 2025.
It is part of a major project to add an additional lane to each carriageway of the A3 and install a larger roundabout, due to be finished by spring 2026.
Drivers who would have used the northbound exit slip road will be diverted to the Painshill exit, while those wanting to enter the clockwise slip road will be sent to junction 9 of the M25.
Between the 12 and 15 May the entire gyratory system around the junction will be closed overnight for resurfacing work, with no traffic able to leave or join at the junction.

Further closures are planned for the weekend of 16 to 19 May.
This will see all entry and exit slip roads closed between 21:00 BST on 16 May and 06:00 BST on 19 May.
The main carriageways of the M25 and A3 will remain open.
