Motorcyclist seriously injured in crash with coach

A man has been seriously injured after a collision between a motorbike and a coach.

Avon and Somerset Police said the motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital by paramedics after the collision on the A370 near Hewish in Somerset at about 07:15 BST.

The road was closed between Congresbury and the roundabout for junction 21 of the M5 in Weston-super-Mare, but has since reopened.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or with any information has been told to contact police.
