Man wanted by police investigating rape of girl, 13
An e-fit has been released by the Met Police of a man wanted in connection with the rape of a 13-year-old girl in north-east London.
The force said the girl was forced into a car on Banister Road West in Homerton and taken to Banister House where she was attacked.
Afterwards, the suspect - who the girl did not know - is believed to have left the scene in a white Audi.
The incident is alleged to have happened between 16:00 and 17:00 GMT on 2 October 2024.
The girl continues to be supported by specialist officers, the force added.
Det Supt Ralph Coates, who is leading the investigation, said: "This is a very serious allegation and understandably it will cause concern in the local community.
"We have been carrying out extensive enquiries including CCTV work and speaking at length to the victim who has undergone a horrific ordeal.
"We now need the help of the public as part of our urgent enquiries to identify this man."
