Lifeboat crew targeted with laser during search

A laser has been shone into the eyes of a lifeboat crew working off the Lincolnshire coast.

It happened near Skegness between 23:30 BST and 00:30 on 28 and 29 June.

Lincolnshire Police said the attempt to impede the crew while it was carrying out a search was serious and could see the perpetrator jailed.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the force.
