Attempted murder charge after boy stabbed

A man has been charged with attempted murder after a 15-year-old boy was seriously injured in a stabbing in Birmingham.
Police said they were called to Alum Rock Road by paramedics after the boy was injured in the Morris Park area, just before 20:45 GMT on Friday.
A 21-year-old man from Birmingham was arrested on Saturday and has since been charged with attempted murder and possession of a knife.
Detectives have also now arrested two boys, aged 16 and 17, on suspicion of attempted murder.
The pair are in custody and will be questioned in due course while the 21-year-old has been remanded in custody ahead of a hearing at Birmingham Magistrates Court on Monday.
The boy who was stabbed remains in hospital with injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening.
