It is 100 years since the birth of the only British woman ever to have won a Nobel Prize for science. Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin, who lived most of her adult life in Oxfordshire and Warwickshire, is credited with discovering the three dimensional structures of penicillin, vitamin B12 and insulin. As The Royal Society celebrates her legacy to science and to women - take a look back at her life and pioneering work with her son Luke Hodgkin.
