Power cable work near Thirsk Bird of Prey centre risks disrupting nesting birds, its owner says.

The bird of prey is thought to have been shot in Goathland in early May, North Yorkshire Police says.

A falconer is now working to rehabilitate the bird - called Bomber - after it attacked villagers.

The cause of the birds' deaths is being investigated but they have not been reported to the police.

The wildlife trust says "it shows just how resilient nature can be".
