HGV driver reversed down A34 after missing junction

A lorry driver who reversed down the A34 near Oxford after missing his junction has been banned from driving for a year.

Dan Bostan, 48, of no fixed address, decided to reverse after missing the southbound turn near Kennington on Monday.

Police seized and published his dashcam footage and told drivers "don't be like Dan".

Bostan was also given a 24-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months at Oxford Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
