Eight men deny violence over barber shop 'turf war'

Eight men have denied violent disorder linked to an incident outside a barber shop.
A previous court hearing was told the case centred on a "barbers' turf war" on Blackwood High Street, Caerphilly, last month.
It was heard violence flared up at around 14:45 GMT on 13 February due to an alleged disagreement about a new barber shop potentially opening in nearby Newbridge.
The eight defendants appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Monday and all pleaded not guilty to a charge of violent disorder.

They were granted conditional bail and a trial date was set for 9 March next year.
The eight charged are:
- Alan Karimi, 30, of Malefant Street, Cardiff
- Shahab Husseini, 24, of Clarence Street, Pontypool
- Bave Hamed, 30, of Cwrt Bryn y Grug, Blackwood
- Krmanj Sadiq, 29, of Ferry Court, Cardiff
- Bryar Muradi, 28, of Central Avenue, Oakdale
- Omed Pirot, 29, of High Street, Pentwynmawr, Caerphilly county
- Adnan Mohamad, 29, of Malefant Street, Cardiff
- Sardam Ebrahimi, 25, of Central Avenue, Oakdale
