Pipe bombs found after security alert in County Down

Police officers have removed two viable pipe bomb type devices from outside a commercial premises on Church Street in Dromore, County Down.
A report was made to police at around 11:15 BST on Wednesday that two suspicious objects had been discovered.
The security alert has now ended and roads have reopened with police and army technical officers removing the devices for forensic examination.
Posting on X, the Deputy First Minister Emma Little-Pengelly praised the staff at the neighbouring nursery.
"I'm just so glad everyone is safe and a recognition to the nursery staff and leadership who managed to keep the children safe and settled through this difficult day," she wrote.
