A double-decker bus crashed into a digital sign that showed parking information in a town centre.

The Stagecoach bus left Goldington Road in Bedford and hit the electronic display on the pavement at about 07:10 BST.

Bedfordshire Police confirmed there were four passengers on board but nobody was injured and that the bus company had removed the vehicle.

A spokesperson for Stagecoach East said: "Safety is our absolute priority and we will carry out a full investigation into the circumstances as well as assisting police with their inquiries."
